ROVERFY
Roverfy is an AI-driven platform that gathers information about your product and makes it usable across multiple touchpoints, from demo videos, support agents, to automated documentation.
My role combined Product Designer and Product Manager. Since this was an MVP, my priority was defining the core features that would deliver value quickly, and then designing them in a way that was straightforward for the development team to implement.
I led user research with potential clients, mapped and designed all user flows, and built a complete design system. To make implementation as seamless as possible, I developed the system directly in HTML and TailwindCSS, providing the development team with production-ready components for an effortless hand-off.
Because of the fast nature of the launch, we made tough design trade-offs. For example, we simplified the visual layer and relied on the Customer Success team to support users in early stages, leaving certain refinements for later iterations.
The target audience were SaaS companies, teams who do not want yet another tool to log into every day. What they need is a reliable source of truth to keep documentation and support agents updated.
To meet that, we designed a lightweight onboarding flow asking only for essential details. Since more complex inputs like authorized links for AI crawling would often not be ready at signup, we added a dedicated setup page. This way, users could create accounts right away, securing the lead, and return later to complete advanced setup at their own pace.
After setup, we minimized friction even further. Clients received a single link they could plug into their own AI systems. Roverfy would update that link in the background, so they did not need to return unless they wanted to change settings.
For me, the most interesting design challenge was intentionally creating a product that users do not need to revisit daily. It feels counterintuitive, but in today’s world, where people crave fewer browser tabs and more peace of mind, it is exactly what added value.
Key outcomes:
Delivered a fully functional MVP in a short time frame, securing first client leads
Reduced onboarding friction by introducing a two-step flow that balanced simplicity with completeness
Created a design system that enabled fast development and consistent user experience
Positioned Roverfy as a “set it and forget it” product, aligning with SaaS client needs for simplicity and automation
